love of succulents

Good morning! One of the reasons why I am IN LOVE with the desert are the succulents/cacti. I have been collecting these beauties for awhile. If I ever lived full-time in a place where I could grow them outdoor, I would have created a sanctuary. They are so out of this world. So strange yet so with it. So strong yet so fragile, so vulnerable. They acquire love but they aren’t needy. Plants unlike us, aren’t the needy type. They test our love. So yeah, I have this love affair with succulents. It began years ago but more serious in the last 9 years. And I love to photograph them, my way!

Am I growing??

My body cannot handle the cold sea as it used to! Right until four years ago I would stay in the freezing water of the Pacific during winter months sometimes for hours, surfing or diving! I would break the ice and dive deep or I would sit on that surf board waiting for a wave to come… I would even swim to get my body ready for cold water sports. I should say freezing water sports. I felt good. I felt tough. I felt I could take on anything I wanted. Recently during a shamanic session I mentioned that I do miss that girl that was me. I miss a lot about that girl that was me. And then I heard this most beautiful answer : ” Don’t look for that girl, because she’s still there. Now there is that girl and this girl with added experience to take on the tasks, believe when they say you have been there and done it, cause you have. You are simply growing “.
